A: Relays are nothing but an inductance load to electronics circuit but they do provide isolation to the outside world
The fan motor and relays do go bad.
I had 91 van that did the same it was a senor by time beit on top
sympathetic system
I have a 97 sonoma and the relays are located in the glove compartment there are three of the them located in a box on the upper left side of the glove compartment. the fuse is by in the drivers side door in the panel of the counsil. if you are having problems with your lights not working correctly it could be your light switch they do go bad i just replaced mine I thought it was a relay but the switch is what was bad.
If you have replaced the relays in your 1997 Toyota RAV 4, the engine cooling fan may not come on when it is supposed to because of a failure in the wiring, the thermostat that sends to the fan, or the fuse for the cooling system.
Under hood. Open fuse box. There are small relays and big relays. It is the big relay fuse closest to the outside of the vehicle. There should be a map under the fuse cover.
Check the fuses and relays.
No try the starter relays first you will find them in the front driver side
impala cranking but not starting; replaced fuses, relays, fuel pump and igntion coils.
Try changing the fuel pump resistor, also check the 2 relays for the fuel pump.
On my 1993 MPV the relays are located passenger side behind the fuse box next to the firewall also there is a 15 amp fuse. I replaced both relays on mine fan still doesn't come on?
