Not only does the Lincoln Town Car have sorry window regualtors, but also the crown vic and Mercury marquis. All the same.
One remedt would to have designed a spring loaded tensioner on the cable assemly, similar to the one on the serpentine belt. This would keep tensone on the cable at all times, thus preventing it from jumping off the little plastic rollers.
This seems to be purposely built in problem by Ford for the purpose of getting it back to the shop so their mechanics can make money.
I own both a marquis and a town car and they both have had window issues.. Shame on ford

Lincoln Town Car 1995What is your make and model? I'm having this problem (among other driver window problems) with my 02 Honda Accent.
i doubt it. because different year and different type. but they might maybe. Depends on which window you are wanting to replace. Ford and Mercury always seem to change things year to year. Check a Hollanders interchange manual most wrecking yards have these.
