It really makes no sense calling an Atheist a "devil worshiper"; the definition of an Atheist is not believing in any god, deity or another higher power. Being an Atheist myself, why would I worship the Devil if I don't even believe in him? The simple answer is people don't put much thought into their insults anymore, whether that is a good thing or not is for one to decide.

I would say because they don't believe in any divine being or just any thing when it comes to religion. But because atheists do not believe in any divine being I do not see how they could be devil worshippers, because the devil is part of religion, but atheists don't believe in relegion at all.

Atheists are not considered devil worshippers. That is simply Propaganda spread by religious extremists. Religionists often resort to demonizing anyone who is different and who doesn't accept their particular world views. They fear anyone who is not under their control.
The Devil Worshippers was created on 1921-01-02.

A:If atheists worshipped the devil, they by definition would not be atheists. An atheist is a person who believes there is no God and no devil, nor any other supernatural beings. An atheist believes that reason tells them that no religious belief is founded on fact.
Before the advent of the 20th century most Europeans considered Native Americans to be savages. This, of course, was not the case.
They didn't when they existed, so not likely now that they don't.
Disneyland is a theme park, not a person, so it can't worship anything. If you mean was it created by devil worshippers or does it represent devil worship... definitely not.
Bill Donohue holds atheists in considerable contempt, but it is unlikely that he genuinely believe they worship the devil. However, he has called on atheists to apologise for the crimes of Adolf Hitler, conveniently forgetting that Hitler was a Catholic, not an atheist. Donohue presumably realises that worship of the devil would require belief in the supernatural, and therefore anyone who did worship the devil could not be an atheist.
