They are. We generally first see comets as they approach the Sun and become visible; if the comet survives the near approach to the Sun, we can continue to see them as they move away from the Sun. Depending on the comet's orbit as compared to the Earth's, we sometimes can't see the comet very well until after it is already moving away from the Sun.
And of course, the first three comets discovered in 2010 were all discovered by satellites watching the Sun - as the comets fell INTO the Sun.
no only comets.
Comets are ice and rock while asteroids are rocky. They both orbit the Sun.

How I remember it is arteries and 'away' both start with a, and vein has "in" in it meaning 'into' the body.

They both orbit the sun.
Comets are seen by reflected sunlight. They may be too small, too distant or a combination of both
Yes, they do quite well together, I have both Comets and Shubunkin in a pond and they are very happy.
Asteroids and comets are alike in that they are both heavenly or celestial bodies. Most of them were born early in the formation of the solar system too.
Yes they do, they are both rocks from outer-space. They both have a nucleus and they both travel in space. The thing that comets and meteors have in common is that they all travel in space and most of them all have not changed because of their formation in the solar nebula.
Black sex links are more aggressive than Golden Comets, though both are bird aggressive breeds.
Little Richard and Bill Haley and the comets both charted with it in 1956
