I don't think it is the color of the hair. I know that some times I am bothered by bugs more than other times. It depends on what I am using. It can be my lotion, my perfume, or even my shampoo or hair product. Sometimes, it could also be what I was cooking or what I had eaten. Try changing this and see if there is an improvement.
