A major problem with negative experiences is that people remember the ones that Provo their point. In this case meeting 100 environmentalists, some wonderful people, some pleasant, some annoying and some that you just couldn't stand will generally result in you only remembering the ones you disliked. As consequence in relating the experience you would refer to the entire group as "annoying"
Tee is annoying, because he is jealous of his brothers, so he has to be annoying to get attention.
