That's not necessarily true. There are many cases where I see several exes remaining friends. However, reasons I see for exes not getting along is that there is a reason why they broke up in the first place, and hard feelings are still there. Therefore, leaving the relationship with negative emotion, the ex boy and ex girl aren't too happy when they see each other.
