The obvious difference between American and German cars are brand names. It is also believe that foreign cars such as German engineered vehicles are of better reliability. Different parts are used for both sets of vehicles and of course there is the matter of cost.
German for reliability, Italian for style.
American brand cars are built in the U.S., Mexico, & Canada. Parts for these vehicles are built all over the world.
NONE no "advantages".... no "country's" cars are better than any other no economic benefit either because many American cars/parts are made outside the us more toyotas are built domestically than "American" cars
German cars tend to have much better safety ratings and often have better engines, like the volkswagen.

they are both automobiles, american and japenese cars have different styling then eachother. also in my opinion american cars are better than japenese because they are american corperations, they are built well and are cheaper to repair than japenese cars and they are generally faster and better looking than japenese vehicles. the americans fell behind but they are now on top again with gm being the top selling automobile company in the world!
