Well, girls are more on the verbal bullying side of things than boys, and you can tease, taunt, etc very easily while texting, emailing, or instant messaging.

There is little to no evidence to support such a conclusion, and anecdotal evidence in my life leads me to believe that cyberbullies target both genders equally, in the same manner that bullies select targets in real life.
