Aa. This is the heterozygous condition. Two alleles, one of which is dominant and masks the expression ( to varying degrees ) of the other allele. 'A' dominant and 'a' recessive. So, if the trait in question is the recessive allele the dominant allele masks its expression and the organism is a ' carrier ' of the trait and can pass it on to progeny.
Gregor Mendel discovered the dominant and recessive mode of genetic inheritance.
Wrinkled peas are recessive, smooth peas are dominant.
He studied dominant and recessive genes. He studied pea plants and the traits that they obtained from previous generations.
Hemophilia is broken into three subcategories; Hemophilia A, Hemophilia B, and Hemophilia C. These subcategories designate a person as having a deficiency of one of three specific clotting proteins. Hemophilia A is the deficiency of the protein called Clotting Factor VIII. Hemophilia B is the deficiency of Clotting Factor IX. Hemophilia C is the deficiency of Clotting Factor XI. "Royal" hemophilia is simply a reference to Hemophilia B and is therefore a result of a deficiency in the Clotting Factor IX protein. It is sometimes called the royal disease because it has been known to have been passed through some royal families throughout history.
Inheritance Patterns! By studying pea plants, Mendal came up with 4 theories of inheritance patterns: 1) Alternate forms of genes exist 2) 2 genes per trait exist 3) A gamete only carries one allele 4) There is a dominant and a recessive allele

There are 2 X-linked recessive inheritance where Only Male or Men are the only people who inherits these kind of trait.
The term that best describes the inheritance of cystic fibrosis is that it is genetic. Cystic fibrosis is caused by recessive alleles. Cystic fibrosis is an autosomal recessive genetic disease.
When two recessive genes are inherited, and the portion of recessive inheritance is 51% or greater in favor of the recessive trait.
