Some do, some don't--just like with any other animal. They don't have a natural hatred of goats or anything, but some horses simply don't like other animals. Others love company of any kind. If those horses typically get along well with new animals, at least after they get used to each other, then they'll probably be fine. I wouldn't put them in a small pen together right at first, though--if the horse decides she doesn't like the goat, she could do some serious damage.
Yes. In most cases both goats and horses will get along fine. Horses are quite social as are goats.
Horses get along best with their own kind. But from personal knowledge the do great with goats, dogs, mini horses-mini donkeys.
No. goats are a different specie's.
I don't know that 'love' would be the correct term, but goats and horses can create and develop a strong bond, especially if they are the only two animals around.Answer2That is a good answer, I'd like to add that goats are often bought as companions for lone horses when the owner cannot buy another horse to keep their horse company. Goats are also a good source of milk when taking care of an orphaned foal.
On Howrse true!
horses
Horses are good friends because they are nice and gentle (well most of them are ). if you have a horse that is wild don't be mean to it or abuse it other wise it will be scared of you. horses are really good friends if you treat them right. i used to have one horse and one pony they were really good friends. but the horse died of colic a sickness horses can get. also the pony we had to sell because she liked to buck alot.
No they are not. Horses are related to Zebras, Donkeys, and Mules.
Horses can live happily with other animals, however care should be taken of their personalities as some may not tolerate living with others. Introduce them slowly on opposite sides of the fence. Goats are known to make good companions to horses.
It would depend how long they have been together for, but horses protect each other from predators, and goats are great companions for horses, so I would say yes, they would protect there goat friends from predators. Sweeney_Todd_Fan
yes unfortunatly :(
yes goats can help calm horses, pretty much any farm type animal will calm a horse, you just have to be careful they may chew the horses tail up to where they cant reach anymore, so i dont suggest putting a goat with a show horse. goats and horses can be great companions, and the goats breaks the cycle of worms that attack horses. These worms don't do anything to the goat.
