Comparing laptops to desktops, laptops:
They have to be made as compact as possible. PC's have no such restrictions.
While desktops offer more power. Laptops are portable and pick up wireless signals without need for a separate net-card.
Desktops are more faster and can use allot of memory Versus laptops
Because the prices are unjustifiable compared to desktops and no matter what anyone thinks or says desktops are more powerful. Because desktops are cheaper and easier to upgrade than laptops and laptops are also more expensive to repair due to being so small and most need custom parts. So only ever purchase a laptop for work and chilling outside because they're not worth it.
Desktop computers have many advantages over laptops! They are often less expensive for the same specs, they are more easily upgraded, and faulty parts like the keyboard, mouse, or monitor are more easily replaced.
It seems that with advances in wireless technology and overall computer design, Laptops have become more popular. My experience has shown me that more and more businesses are providing their employees with laptops, to allow for flexibility. Desktops are cheaper and will offer more for your dollar, in terms of hardware.
Desktop any day of the week - if they are to be compared with equal abilities. Since the parts have to be smaller and more durable (banging and being dropped and..) the laptops equivalent parts are higher priced.
Desktops are cheaper than laptops and are more powerful. But laptops are portable.
Laptops because ther portable. But if your looking power wise then I recommend desktop.
To be honest, they're probably the same. The thing is that the desktop has its own set of problems and laptops have their own unique set of problems. It really just depends on what the problems are for each type of computer.
There not that many differences but still something's should be considered. A desktop is more durable and you can attach more to it. A laptop is portable but fragile and generally are not good if you need lots of accessories.
They aren't. They are susceptible to the same weaknesses. There is no logical difference between laptops and desktops. Only physical differences (CPU speed, form factor and size, etc.) Laptops do not introduce any more security risks than are common in desktops.
nowdays in my views more laptops are used than dekstop coz they are handy to use and also nowdays becoming cheaper than dekstops........
No. Use Alienware or specified gaming laptops. Desktops can handle more.
