a village that is not modern will:
-have no electricity
-no tv, music players, no mobiles, no internet
-villagers work on farms and earn a living by working on their farm
-they eat less, just enough to survive and they do not eat for pleasure
-they eat what is grown on their farms and rarely buy food from shops
-they don't wear branded clothes such as nike
-they eat with their hands
-live in simple houses and don't need the best furniture
this is what villages used to be like, but now they have changed a lot, even now in villages you have tv, mobiles, big houses, nike clothes etc. this shows how globalisation has changed the world and even the changed the villages. how many villages will you find these days that are like the description i have given above, very few.
you could say a village is still not modern, if the village follows most of the things that i have listed above.
because of less opportunity in studies and if they will get modern then what is the use of calling them villages.

It is difficult to determine definitively which country has the most villages, as definitions of villages can vary across countries. However, countries like India, China, and Indonesia are often cited as having a large number of villages due to their vast populations and rural areas.
