found with mine because of lack of use,(no load) in the back, that the calliper pistons will tend to freeze in the out position and not want to relax. Each time you apply pressure they will engage but fail to relax. either replace the callipers, or if you are handy enough you can get a rebuild kit and drill hone and slightly hone the bore and clean the piston with break fluid and a piece of plumbers emery cloth. BE VERY CAREFUL!! take too much and you are getting the new callipers. this takes time and may require an air source to work the piston back out of the calliper cyl. should slide freely at an even pressure in and out. any checking or off center drag will cause a bind.
also be sure to soak the bleeders allot if you have aluminum callipers because they don't free up that easily. and if you break those off everything is for nothing. no way to bleed them when you get them back on.
To keep it from happening in the future try to give the back a little exercise every once in a while. (by no way telling you to do anything illegal or dangerous). sometimes they just need to get a load on!!
Hope this helps
On the 4WD SR5 truck, front brakes are disc, and rear brakes are drum.
No. The 1997 has drum brakes and the 2003 has disc brakes.
disc brakes , front and rear
No, the 2003 Camry does not have disc brakes on the rear of the vehicle.
Not all Iroc Z's have rear disc brakes. It was an option for all Camaros not just the Irocs for the rear disc brakes. Most likely if your car has the code G80(RPO codes are listed in the glove box in the center console) then it will have Rear disc brakes. However ALL 5.7L IROCs do have rear disc brakes.
On a Ford Explorer : There are disc brakes on the front and ( starting with the 1995 model year ) there are disc brakes on the rear also ( instead of drum brakes on the rear )
it either has front disc brakes and rear drum or it has front and rear disc bakes. look for a flat disc in the front and back - those are front and rear disc brakes-they take pads. The drum brakes take shoes.

LS6 Chevelles had rear disc-brakes
