The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) has no policy against ordaining open homosexuals to be High Priests and never has had such a policy.

While Mormons believe that homosexual sexual activity is a sin and will usually disfellowship actively practicing members who participate in such activity, openly homosexual men who are celebate or who choose to marry a female (rare, but it happens) are welcome to be ordained as High Priests and serve in many leadership and teaching capacities. There are a handful of openly gay Mormons serving as Bishop's counselors (similar to an assistant pastor) in the United States, and countless more serving as small group leaders or teachers. This is totally acceptable so long as the church's rules against homosexual relationships are obeyed.
