Why are people still using fossil fuel?

Burning of fossil fuels create carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, also known as greenhouse gasses. This would be called the greenhouse effect where these greenhouse gasses from the use of fossil fuels heat up the atmosphere.
