The reason Starbucks is closing today only for 3hours.. Is because they need to retrain there "Baristas" to make better coffee.. i believe othere cofee shops during this 3hour are giving away free cofee to woooo customers.. will se what happens but there yo go...Training

∙ 15y agoI have heard many reasons for this particular question. I think that there is simply not enough business with all of the new chains, such as Dunkin Donuts , and so on. Since the business isn't good Starbucks is forced to close some locations.

∙ 15y agoI think not in general. Their dispersion of stores were not always the smartest placement. Where I live there are Starbucks in the grocery store as well as in the parking lot of the grocery store, in multiple cases. They are closing stores based on sales among other things but Starbucks is still very prosperous just suffering like most companies due to the recession.
