Why do boys weigh more than girls?

It might be genetic but not all guys are fat. Some guys just eat what their parents give them and they get fat. Most of it is lack of exercise and over consumption of food. Secondly, males don't develop as quickly as females, so they may keep their "baby fat," longer.

Human beings exhibit a degree of sexual dimorphism. That is the males are generally bigger than the females in any similar population. This complicated by the fact that some populations are on the greater part larger than other populations (e.g. Dutch people are genrall taller than Chinese)

The reason for this seems to be the role for each of the sexes to play in life. Human males have evolved as the "muscle" to go out hunting, building and fighting. Human females to tend to the smaller muscle and social tasks. As these tasks become more equally divided between the sexes the dimorphism may be reduced.
