The metal from which an instrument is made will change the sound it produces. Some people like the sound of a silver Trumpet better than that of a yellow brass trumpet.
It's all about personal preference.
Yes; bronze and silver trumpets were found in the tomb of Tutankhamun.
No one knows for certain as it is so old. The oldest trumpets date back to 1500 B.C.E. and earlier. The bronze and silver trumpets from Tutankhamun's grave in Egypt, bronze lurs from Scandinavia, and metal trumpets from China date back to this period.[
The earliest known trumpets are silver and bronze. Some people think that earlier trumpet-like devices may have been made out of wood or other natural materials.
Most trumpets are made of brass, since silver is much more expensive. Most silver trumpet are really silver plated brass trumpets.
Assuming you mean brass colored, it's because of the color of the metal they are made with. However, it should be noted, not all trumpets are brass colored. Some are silver and some are gold.

10 silver and bronze
The earliest trumpets date back to 1500 BCE and earlier. The bronze and silver trumpets from Tutankhamun's grave in Egypt, bronze lurs from Scandinavia, and metal trumpets from China date back to this period.[2] Trumpets from the Oxus civilization (3rd millennium BCE) of Central Asia have decorated swellings in the middle, yet are made out of one sheet of metal, which is considered a technical wonder.[3] The Moche people of ancient Peru depicted trumpets in their art going back to 300 CE.[4] The earliest trumpets were signaling instruments used for military or religious purposes, rather than music in the modern sense;[5] and the modern buglecontinues this signaling tradition.
