There is anecdotal evidence that Tarsiers are not only in other places in the Philippines but also in a number of other island countries. They are known to exist on Bohol, Mindanao, Letye and Sumar islands of the Philippines and in Indonesia and Borneo, with reports of them being seen in Malaysia and Sarawak.
Tarssiers are very secretaive and shy animals living in thick primary jungle. They have recently been discovered on the slopes of Mount Mututum, a volcano near the two of Tupi in southern Mindanao and there are stories of them being present in Koronodal and the Lake Sebu areas as well.
My guess is that there are other 'families of Tarsiers yet to be discovered especially in the Philippines where new species of animals are discovered practically every month. There has to be more clusters of Tarsiers around that officially have not been registered.
