To be able to do their jobs teachers must be strict. There are students in each class ( you know this is true) who don't want to be there, who don't want to learn, and do their best to stop the learning process. Teachers only have 184 days to teach you everything you need before you move into the next grade and this isn't much time.
Teachers may appear hard on students because they want to challenge them to reach their full potential and succeed academically. They enforce high standards to help students develop important skills such as perseverance, critical thinking, and time management. It's all in the best interest of the students' growth and education.
