Because ratings for them have dropped drastically since the inception of cable channels that air Cartoons 24 hours a day like Cartoon Network & Boomerang. Also, it is much easier to access cartoons via smart phones & the internet at any time viewers wish so there's no reason for kids today to specifically tune into Saturday morning television.
