it is very simple. humans cut down trees for wood supply and Australia is very hot. it has many deserts and is very dry. (that's mainly why the native Australians live by the cost) they do not get much rain. thus, there is no water for the plants to grow.

rain forest dont get very little rain infact rain forests are called that because it gets far to much rain and that helps the plants and trees grow so high.
