Just because someone knows a teaching - JW, Mormon, Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox - does not mean they agree with said teachings. Perhaps they have researched all and determined the how and why certain Scripture/doctrine exists in these particular denominations and disagree with them. It comes down to a matter of individual interpretations and beliefs.

Catholic AnswerIn the fourth century, there was a priest names Arius, who came up with a really insidious heresy known as Arianism, which, removed from its "elegant verbiage" boiled down to Jesus was NOT God, just another (albeit the first) creature of God. Since the fourth century, after its condemnation at the First Council of Nicaea, this heresy has arisen again and again in various forms, one of the latest of which is the Jehovah's Witnesses. This heresy carried with it all kinds of additional baggage, but it is, at its base, inimical to Christianity, and all the good things that flow from a Christian civilization. It has also arisen in the heresy known as Unitarianism. Like a lot of ancient heresies, it has proven difficult to kill off completely as the Father of Lies, who cannot invent anything new, recycles old sins and heresies under new packaging, with the same end - to separate people from the love of God, through His son, Jesus Christ, and forestall their chance at salvation. We are against the teachings of the Jehovah's Witnesses for the same reason that the Council of Nicaea was so against them, and every thinking ruler exiled them from his law. It is inimical to Christianity and the salvation of souls.

Should you give a card to a Jehovah's witness for the birth of their child?

Yes you can give a witnesses a card; whether the witnesses will chose to accept it will depend on several factors. Since Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate Christmas or birthdays (or other celebrations they deem as 'pagan') if this has previously been explained the witness may or may not choose to accept the card if it is for one of these occassions. He or she may accept the card in the spirit it was given, explaining the above or may chose not to accept the card. If the card is for another occassion that the witnesses finds unobjectionable they will likely accept it with thanks.

Do Jehovah witness feel Gods annointing?

Not all of Jehovah's Witnesses experience God's "anointing". This is because Jehovah's Witnesses believe that only those who are going to heaven will receive this "anointing". Those who are not going to heaven will have an opportunity to live forever in a paradise on earth, as Jesus promised. You can learn more by going to their official website.
