Why - after installing IE 9 - did all the display ads disappear from WikiAnswers?
Ads are not displayed to users who are logged in to WikiAnswers, so that is most likely the cause. I.E. 9 may also be somehow blocking the ads but I doubt that is the case. If you recently installed a browser extension such as AdBlock, that could also cause the ads to disappear.
