There are MANY more than 2 ways to worship God in Judaism. Here are just a few:
communal prayer
personal prayer
acts of kindness
studying
tikkun olam (making the world a better place)
nigunnim (prayers that have no words; only music and sound)
saving a life
The biggest disadvantage of worshipping in different ways, is that as soon as people have options, someone is bound to claim that their way is better than someone else's and create drama, fighting, sectarianism, hatred, violence and fear.

Adonai is one term for God used in Judaism. Some believe that Jesus uttered the word, "Adonai", when on the cross, asking why God had forsaken him.
The term Hashem Adonai is Hebrew. Adonai means Lord. Hashem means "the Name"Because Jews could not pronounce the formal name of Jehova, they used Hashem as a form of shorthand. Combined, Hashem Adonai means Jehova God.

Bonasse, Trinidad when the spiritual Baptists were persecuted for their ways of worshipping because Trinidad was still a colony under the British empire and the heads of the british government were all Christians and saw the Baptists way of worshipping as heathen
Adonai means "the Lord", but the rest of that phrase doesn't apear to be Hebrew.
Adonai is not written differently in biblical Hebrew. It's just the Biblical Hebrew word for God's name is not pronounced, so Jews say "Adonai" when they come across that word.
