The Great Sundarbans is situated jointly in Bangladesh & India. Approximately 60% of total Sunarbans areas lies in Bangladesh beside Khulna (District of Bangladesh) region. Tigers in this area have always drank brackish water, and fresh water when they can obtain it, from rain to lakes built especially for them.
