Volcanoes produce a number of hazards depending on the type of volcano. Even a volcano that is not erupting can release toxic gasses and cause earthquakes, though major earthquakes are rare. Volcanoes with low-viscosity magma often produce lava flows that move downhill, burning what they come in contact with. Volcanoes with high-viscosity magma tend to erupt explosively. These eruptions produce volcanic ash, which consists of tiny shards of glass that can damage and clog the lungs, which can lead to a very painful death. The ash, which can fall like snow, is about as dense as concrete, which can cause roofs to collapse. The ash can also mix with water from rain or melting ice, forming dense mudflows called lahars. Finally, the greatest danger from these eruptions are pyroclastic flows. These are mixtures of hot ash, rock, and gas that race down the sides of a volcano at great speeds, destroying everything in their path.and causes acid rain .
the lava is really hot it can kill you and ashes fall every where and suffocating gass from ashes too
very dangerous
Of course Mud Volcanoes are dangerous! If you touch it, you will get a mass burn. So don't take a bath in there :D
I think any volcano is potentially dangerous. It was once thought that volcanoes were extinct but now scientist think volcanoes are active or dormant. So any volcanoe could erupt and be dangerous. Some are more likely to than others.
In general, composite volcanoes are the most dangerous volcanoes because they are more explosive than the other types.
false
Volcanoes are also dangerous to aircraft flying near them.
very dangerous
Yes.
No

If it erupting then yes.
Yes.
With some exceptions, volcanoes are generally not dangerous to people. Your chance of being killed by a volcano is 1 in 80000 over your lifetime, which is far less than your chance of being killed in say a motor vehicle accident (1 in 67). There are also two classifications for inactive volcano's. Volcanoes which have not erupted for a significant amount of time are known as dormant volcanoes. Volcanoes which have not erupted in human history are known as extinct volcanoes. Extinct volcanoes are never expected to erupt again, and are therefore not dangerous unless they have been misclassified. So no, I do not think that all volcanoes whether active or inactive are dangerous. The only dangerous volcanoes are dormant volcanoes that explode suddenly with little or no warning.
