they worked because they had no money and the houses they slept in were very small. The houses were smaller then school bathrooms. They slept near fire escape in the kitchen. They also took showers in the sink and wash dishes so you wouldn't live in their condition.

They looked like ghetto gas station bathrooms but 12 times worse and they blacks did not even do that to their bathrooms. The whites would come in and trash the place and i am white so that is how bad they where and how often they looked like that.
