Best Answer

Cable TV is a convenient distribution system for densely populated areas and can be offered with telephone ad internet services as a bundle. However, it is not a preferred delivery method away from areas of dense housing. Terrestrial transmission and satellite broadcasts are rather more useful for rural areas where cable installation costs are prohibitive.
