Pauli's exclusion principle. Two electrons with the same spin quantum number (+1/2 -1/2 cannot ccupy the same quantum state.
That is potentially dangerous and should never be done. See an electrician about this problem.

When the pin is pushed into the cup the polystyrene (Styrofoam) is temporarily pushed aside. When the pin is withdrawn the polystyrene reforms largely to its original location. If a drill was used, the same diameter as the pin and material was actually removed the cup would leak. Also the water tension of the water in front of a hole the size of a pin would prevent the water from leaking out.
In North America the neutral pin is used to complete the circuit. One pin is "hot", one pin is neutral and the last pin is ground.
Pin 1 = ground, Pin 2 = hot/plus, Pin 3 = cold/minus
No the cvn is the 3 digit number on the back of your card. Never give anyone your pin number!!
Every 2 weeks, a new pin is hidden in a different place. It is never hidden in the same place, so look carefully!

Same as the UK 3 pin : )
On a standard patch cable the ends are wired the same. Pin 3 connects to pin 3.
