Why can girls wear men's clothes they want but boys cannot wear women's clothing?

cause it feels good I believe boys like to wear girls clothes, especially dresses, because of a few reasons: 1. They envy the fact that girls can experience the freedom of wearing the dress because yes it feels good. They realize that they dont have to wear much under a dress. this gives them the sense of freedom. 2. They envy the fact that girls can wear something cute, or pretty and want to experience this sensation.

boys can dress as girls. It is not socially acceptable but it can be done. I believe it need to be done more often so that it does become acceptable you never know if one boy does it that may give courage to another and another. If you are considering this then by all means go ahead if it makes you happy and feels right to you then it does not matter what others think. Be yourself be happy.

The answers above are absolutely correct, the first woman ever to wear pants was looked at strangly because she was crossdressing. Crossdressing is frowned upon because it allows society categorize us as people. Instead of we deciding for ourselves.

They can. What you are speaking of is society's approval, not physical design. A Man can wear a woman's bra and it will not fall off (it will be very uncomfortable, but then again, all Bras are!) Society deemed that women were in the past not worth as much as men: a lower class. For a woman to act like a man and dress and spit tobacco like a man ...is her 'trying to raise her class', a man 'flouncing around and taking care of babies and wearing skirts' is 'demeaning' and "lowers his class." Who would want to lower their class?

Ask most women what they think of a man wearing women's clothes: "He's a pansy." "He's weak." "He's nuts.. men's clothes are much more comfortable." "He's gay." {Actually they are saying "If you dress like a woman you must be wanting to get a man" when if you ask them if they dress like they do to get a man, they will generally laugh or get angry "I don't need a man, I dress cause I want to." SO why can't a man do the same and not be gay?}

When women stop thinking this, anyone can wear anything they want AS long as it's legal and isn't rude! Men aren't going to change: besides it's the women who decide what the men wear. If skirts were suddenly a way to get laid, 99% of American men would suddenly wear a skirt or 2 or more. And if you got laid more often with more feminine skirts, PVC skirts and leather skirts and lace skirts would be bought by the millions.

Note to the average guy: if your girl started saying "wear a skirt or you get nothing" and you know she meant it, how long would you really hold off? A week? Maybe 2?
