Most Muslims and Christians do live together in peace. However, it only takes a small number of extremists to cause trouble, and it's trouble that gets reported on news programs etc rather than peace.

What towns in Utah are more Christian than Mormon?

First of all, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) are Christian, they are just not Protestant or Catholic Christians. No towns in Utah have more 'Christians' (Protestants and Catholics) than Mormons. What is the difference Christian Mormon?

Mormonism is a type of Christianity. Asking the difference between Christians and Mormons is like asking the difference between fruit and apples - apples are a type of fruit, and Mormons are a type of Christian. Like all Christians, Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is their Savior and that the Bible is the Word of God. They have many of the same traditions and rituals as other Christians such as Baptism, Lord's Supper/Communion, Sunday Worship, Easter, and Christmas. Mormons do have some beliefs that set them apart from most other Christians. For example, they reject the Nicene Creed and the doctrine of the Trinity, believing instead that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three seperate beings united by purpose. They believe that prophets did not end with the Bible and that God continues to send prophets today. They believe in scripture in addition to the Bible (The Book of Mormon). They perform baptisms for those who died without accepting Christ so that these people might get a chance to accept Jesus in the afterlife. Mormons also believe that marriages and families are eternal and will continue in heaven. Check out the "Related Link" below to learn more about Mormons.

Will Mormons be saved?

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that they are saved by the grace and power of Jesus Christ. Many other Christian groups do not accept this claim and say that Mormons are not really Christians and therefore cannot possibly be saved. Whether Mormons truly are saved is for God to decide. Mormons believe that they are saved, but other Christians believe they are not. Check out the "Related Links" to learn more.

Are Mormons considered christains?

It depends on who you ask and how you define what a Christian is. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) do consider themselves Christians. They believe that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and that the Bible is the word of God, just like all Christians. Mormons strive to follow the example and teachings of Jesus Christ in their everyday lives. However, many other Christian groups do not accept Mormons as Christians because Mormons do not believe in the Trinity (God in 3 persons). Mormons believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are three individual beings, each sacred, eternal, and perfectly united in purpose. Some Christian groups also reject Mormons as Christian because they believe there is scripture in addition to the Bible and that Jesus Christ leads the Church by speaking to prophets in our modern day. Mormons invite everyone to learn of their doctrines and form their own opinions. Visit the "Related Links" below to learn more about Mormon beliefs or visit a Mormon worship service near you.
