First answer.Having driven all the makes of German cars over the last thirty years.I would elect the Audi as the most reliable of them all, followed by VW.
I would say generally no, but i cant say that it is no reliable American car. American cars are generally mass produced with cheap materials. You cant really compare an Audi to a Chevy, and also America haves no sense of fuel economy or air-polution. - But one thing is for sure, American cars do come cheap.
