Taking Suboxone with any other opiate is a really bad idea, because Suboxone blocks the opiate receptors in your brain, making it impossible to get high from other opiates. Taking Suboxone with other opiates won't get you higher -- in fact, it will do the opposite. Just 2mgs of Suboxone probably isn't enough to completely kill your high, but the high will certainly be less intense. Forget about the Suboxone, and just do the opium by itself.

But with my 1st suboxones Dr. he would also give me xanax even though you are Not supposed to, I O.D'd twice & almost died once when I was on suboxone and xanax because I took way to many extra zannies due to a traumatic family event and my heart stopped & only thanks to god the docs & my family that im still here. So my new suboxone doc weaned me off in 2 weeks and said how deathly fatal it is to mix suboxone & xanax and even with percocets witch we called our cocktail, mixing uppers or pain pills with downers, but No they DoNot get you high (seen someone said they do) if you take them how you arw supposed to and No you should not take xanax with suboxone unless under close dr supervision but most suboxone doctors will not prescribe them together & at suboxone.com it will say about how it can be fatal to take any benzodines with suboxone, So I would say No and I really hope you will read that and not take them together for the safety of your health and life even. I have had too many close friends die from this. I am on suboxone my doctor subscribes me to take 16mg. a day. I have spoke with him about the use of any benzos ie xanax and he told me he has seen some patients die or OD from the use. On the webpage from the makers of suboxone they say it is extremely dangerous. I tried it in a low point going back to my junkie mentality to catch a nod. I took a 0.5 pill of xanax in the morning. then another 4 hours later. (I don't have a tolerance to xanax) It made me nod a little, not like herion or dilaudid but it did seem like I was high, kinda of like a vicoden buzz. When I took the second one the effects were more noticable. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS but I didn't die but you might everyone is different. As for taking it at night, that wouldn't make a difference because buphrenephrine the partial opiate in suboxone is active for up to 72 hours, so it would have the same effect on you if you were to take it in the morning right after your sub dissovles under your tongue. physically, no. but you will still have mental urges for awhile. but it does get much easier.
Can you take buprenorphine and Xanax together?
No. it is unsafe to take any Benzodiazapine with Suboxone! It even says so on the Suboxone website. Not only is it dangerous but it has caused deaths in some patients. I also checked this out by calling the medical department at Suboxone and I was told that I was correct that this was the indication.
