First of all, trees basically "eat" Carbon Dioxide (which is bad) and in return, they give us oxygen. Plus they also provide homes for small mammals and birds, and some native rain forest people.

without trees animals have no home and trees give off oxygen so its a good idea to leave a tree alone if you see it
