The one of the major reason for which Delhi got the host status of CWG is because it is one of the only complete CNG based city that is no automobile run on diseal or petrol, but only on CNG so having less polluted air.
Other reasons are, it had already host the Asian Olympics in 1980's and is the capital city of India with one of the best infrastructure city of the world.
