According to The Bible, Adam named every creature on earth. If he named one every five minutes, twelve hours a day for nineteen years, he would have finished naming the first million species that God showed him. God continued creating more and more species and bringing them to Adam, in the hope that Adam would find one species that would be a help meet, or company, for him. In the end, God finally realised that what Adam really needed was a woman of his own kind.
The name Hamster has been around for millions of years-it goes way back to Adam and Eve. According To the Christian beliefs, the Holy Bible says that God created Adam and Eve. And that he told Adam to name (create a name) every animal. God had all the animals there, and Adam made a name for each and every animal. Which means Adam made a name for the hamster which is obviously the "Hamster"! No one in the world made it- (Except for Adam) In the past maybe 20 years or so, the name has been around for millions of years since Adam and Eve were created.
