Why is tearing down inner city factories and building new factories in the suburbs profitable for a large corporation?

Since there is population decrease in the suburbs because of city centres, building new factories in the suburbs will lead to population increase instead. Immigrants tend to first settle in the centre of cities because of more job opportunities and social factors. Tearing down inner city factories and building new factories in the suburbs are profitable for a large corporation because because of the factories , there is more pollution inn the centre city. By "moving" some factories to the suburb, there won't be as much pollution in the centre of the city.

How to Choose an International Moving Company?

With the increase in globalization, more and more people are finding that they need to move abroad for their careers. If you’re one of these select few, you’re soon going to find yourself tasked with finding an international moving company. Moving within the country is already stressful enough, but moving from one nation to another doesn’t necessarily have to be. By doing your homework and having a great attention for detail, you’ll find that making an international move isn’t as stressful as most people make it out to be. Firstly, you’re going to need to find an international moving company within the country you’re going to. Unless you know how to speak the language, this might be a little difficult. Try to look for companies that specialize in English speaking clients, or better yet, speak to your current company to see if it has any suggestions or discounts for business-related moves. If you’re not moving for work reasons or you cannot find anything through those means, try talking to people who have moved to that country from your country of origin—try looking on message boards or using contacts that you may have already established in your destination. From here, you need to make certain that the company has a solid reputation. By checking into their company’s references and licenses, you can ascertain whether or not the movers are, say, legally obliged to transport your belongings across oceans. Check as to whether the company is large or small, and make sure to know if they’re a part of a larger parent company or trade organization. By doing some extensive yet uncomplicated research, you can ensure that your worldly possessions will meet you safely in your target country. Moving from one country to another is hard enough, with acclimating yourself to completely new surroundings and an entirely different culture. Moving your belongings to a new nation, however, doesn’t have to be that difficult. By making sure to check moving companies comprehensively and to be in as much control as possible, you’ll find that bringing your possessions with you can be fairly painless. Moving to a different country and realigning yourself with their way of life is already going to be a stressful, albeit exciting, experience for you—do your best to make certain that moving to that country doesn’t make that adventure any worse.

Pros and cons of globalization?

PROS-- Productivity grows more quickly when countries produce goods and services in which they have a comparative advantage. Living standards can go up faster.-- Global competition and cheap imports keep a lid on prices, so inflation is less likely to derail economic growth.-- An open economy spurs innovation with fresh ideas from abroad.-- Export jobs often pay more than other jobs.-- Unfettered capital flows give the U.S. access to foreign investment and keep interest rates low.CONS-- Millions of Americans have lost jobs due to imports or production shifts abroad. Most find new jobs--that pay less.-- Millions of others fear losing their jobs, especially at those companies operating under competitive pressure.-- Workers face pay-cut demands from employers, which often threaten to export jobs.-- Service and white-collar jobs are increasingly vulnerable to operations moving offshore.-- U.S. employees can lose their comparative advantage when companies build advanced factories in low-wage countries, making them as productive as those at home.In globalization everyone gets 'a bit' as in the job is shared everywhere, and everyone can access it, but this can mean that jobs can go abroad because of cheaper labor (outsourcing), there are lots of different factors though. Search 'what is outsourcing' for more info.
