Great Britain entered the war to lend assistance to the countries attacked by Germany, to prevent Hitler from further expansion and occupation of European countries, and to defend itself from the attacking German Luftwaffe and German Navy.
Hitler was going to use Britain as a stepping stone to North America. His plan was to control the world. The British people fought bravely against the invasion by the Germans and thankfully won.
