That may depend greatly on which state you live in and its laws governing this question. In most states you can drop out, but I don't recommend doing so. Statistically it is more difficult to find jobs wothout a high school education. If you decide to go ahead and drop out, I would suggest that you enter 'Job Corp' and most definatley get your GED as well.

It is not very likely. Few police academies would consider a high school drop out. Many of those that attend have an associates in criminal science. There are many college graduates that apply as well.
