Why did Mary Mackillop change?

She was cross about what the bishop did(leader of the saints)so she sent the bishop a letter. The bishop was disapointed about what she wrote then called in a meeting and expelled her from the saints. Yet everybody loved her as if they treated her as a sister but the bishop called that if anybody talks to Mary they will to be expelled from the saints. Mary was lonely no sisters, no friends but then the bishop called her to have drugs though she did but she caught a stroke from it and parilylized the right side of her body and died in a few years.

Mary MacKillop experienced a deep spiritual calling to serve the poor and disadvantaged in Australia during the 19th century. She co-founded the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart and dedicated her life to providing education and support to those in need. Her commitment to social justice and education led her to be recognized as a saint by the Catholic Church in 2010.

Mary Mackillop had reported to the bishop that a local priest was sexually abusing children. The priest was removed from his duties by the bishop and sent out of the country. A priest friend of the accused priest became upset with Mary's accusation and made false charges against her and the order of nuns to the bishop who then excommunicated her and disbanded her order of nuns. Several months later, on his deathbed, the bishop absolved Mary of any wrongdoing and and the excommunication was lifted. Later investigations revealed that Mary had done nothing to merit excommunication.

So, to make a long story short, Mary Mackillop did not change. She stuck to the truth and did not budge one inch to clear her name even when it meant she was excommunicated from the Church she loved. When the truth emerged in the end, Mary was proven to have been correct all along.
