Thats why north koreans come to south korea to escape kim jong un. some north koreans, most of them, were brainwashed by the dictator and they think that their country is the best in the world, and that americans and south koreans are their enemies. but technically the north korean citizens didn't really do anything wrong, and most dont even wanna kill south koreans. the problem is the dictators.

You could get sent to a concentration camp for doing this as well. There are many horrific stories that come from the citizens of North Korea that are able to escape. One being a women being raped by the guards of the concentration camp. She became pregnant and the guards cut the fetus out of her while she was alive tied to a pole outside exposed to the elements. They were both left for dead. It's reasons like this and many others that tempt their own citizens to attempt escape from the country.
