The fable of Revere comes from a Longfellow poem written in 1861 and in reality he didn't ride through the night yelling about the British coming. Longfellow wrote his poem on the eve of the civil war to remind people of the nation's history. Somehow the poem became part of history and was put into history books as fact. Revere never finished the ride, his horse was taken away and he was held by a British patrol, but thanks to Longfellow we all know who he is. He billed Congress for the ride and the cost of the horse since it was taken from him and it didn't belong to him. It was borrowed from Rev. John Larkin and was named Brown Beauty. Larkin refers to it in his will. His one big contribution was the picture on a flier after the Boston Massacre showing colonist getting shot by the British. This was pure Propaganda and was used to incite discontent between the colonist and the British troops. The true facts of the event are much different than what he drew.
He was a patriot and more interested in the valuable propaganda that could be gained by misrepresenting the fact. He wanted to stir the emotions of the people.
To stir up bad feelings towards the British.
what did Paul Revere do when he reached lexington
Three reasons the Colonies needed to break away from Britain were the simple rights that were being taken away from the colonists. The king was sending troops over to America to watch the colonists and make sure they were no longer trading with other countries other than Britain. The king passed charters and taxes that were set on many things while he did not to Britain. He wanted it so Britain would make all the profit and the colonies made only enough to survive. The king wouldn't give the people a say in there own government which did not work out because in order to pass laws that needed to be passed then and there they had to be sent on ships and wouldn't get to the king for another five months. The people were not allowed to govern them selves if they were cot doing something that was not right they would be sent to court but not the kind we have today it would be justified by the judge there was no other people who would decide but the king. This made to people furious. They then began to rebel with the Boston tea party and the Boston massacre. These are three reasons the people of the colonies broke off of Britain.
its not about agreeing; i believe its about standing for they believe in. their mother land taken by white supermacist to decide where/who/and how it gets used and who occupy it. u see this going on all over the our nation the white gov't did it to the hawaiian race; our civil war; th revolution; this is all about the white race deciding with the help or no help but maybe intervention by the federal gov't if it gets out of hand to realize there will be resistance. its like coup groups in foreign country the U.S. gov't steps in when to much people are getting killed. this whole thing is mandela got locked-up, he and other black leaders in so. africa could rally the people in s. africa and that would of been a massacre. it makes me proud to understand other cultures and how they stand-up to the gov't and fight and believe.

It"s not a movie,. it is the horrible recent historical event of the so-called Columbine Massacre. ironically enough a Columbine is a Dove, a peace-bird indeed and a staff plane ( forerunner of Air Force One) used by President Eisenhower. There were two principal operatives inthe morbid massacre one named Klebold. odd name. p.s. films with such tragic outcomes and plots should not be filmed, this happened in the USA not some Nazi prison camp.
Paul Revere thought it was wrong the British were trying to boss them around so he created the Sons Of Liberty to see if others would stand up too.
Purim comes from Pur which means "casting lots" which is what Haman did to decide what day the Purim massacre would be on.Source: Esther 9:26 - Wherefore they called these days Purim after the name of Pur.
A lot of people decide to get dogs that are the breads of JACK RUSSLES, and COCKER SPANIELS. the BOSTON TERRIER is also a good choice.
The American colonists had objected to the Townshend Act taxes, which resulted in the Boston Massacre. The reason for the colonists' anger was that they felt that under British law, they were supposed to be able to vote in Parliament's elections if they are being taxed. Since they were not allowed to vote, they felt the Townshend taxes were illegal. After the Massacre, Parliament wanted to repeal all of the Townshend Act taxes. The Prime Minister at the time, Lord North, wanted to keep the tax on tea as proof that Parliament did have the right to raise taxes on the colonists, despite their lack of voting rights. Remember, British (and American) law is largely based on "precedent"- when laws are reviewed, the courts look at history to see how things were done before, and try to keep the laws the same- "this is how it worked then, so it's how it works now too." By keeping the tea tax on the books, if Parliament passed a colonial tax later and it was reviewed by the courts, the government could point to the tea tax as proof of the precedent.
Salem, MA is only 16 miles from Boston. If you decide to drive depending on when you leave it can take up to an hour with traffic.
The first city to decide not to import goods from Great Britain was Boston. This occurred on December 6, 1773, when a group of about 200 men boarded a ship with imported tea and dumped it into the harbor. This event became known as the Boston Tea Party.

Different religions have different central figures or deities that followers worship and revere. Ultimately, it is up to individuals to decide for themselves who or what is the center of their religious beliefs.
Though Boston terriers are a smaller sized breed of dog, the best thing to do is measure your dog and decide from there. Boston terriers can be rambunctious, so maybe pick a door that can be locked by humans when need be. The best option would be to discuss this with your veterinarian for what is best for your pet.
The bloodshed in Kansas in the 1850s, known as "Bleeding Kansas," was the result of intense violence between pro-slavery and anti-slavery forces. The conflict began with the Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854, which allowed the territories to decide for themselves whether to permit slavery. This led to a rush of pro-slavery and anti-slavery settlers moving to Kansas in an attempt to influence the outcome, resulting in clashes such as the Pottawatomie Massacre and the Battle of Black Jack.
