1. God buried Moses' body so no one could find it. If you remember, Moses shone with the glory of God, and it was so bright at times that he had to cover his face. The devil, the god of this world, felt like he had the legal right to Moses' body because it was in the earth. Why would Satan want Moses' body? Well, looking back at what caused the Israelites to fail time and time again, was idolatry. They made a golden calf and worshiped it. Now, think about what would happen if they would have found Moses' body, which shone with the glory of God Almighty! God hid Moses to protect the Israelites from falling into the trap of idolatry.
2. Michael the archangel did not rebuke Satan because he respected Satan's position of authority. The Lord Jesus obtained all authority both in heaven and in earth when He rose from the dead, thus making Him higher in rank than Satan. Michael left the rebuking up to Jesus, who is head of all principality and power.
Footnote: In the same fashion, Christians I believe, they (themselves) should not rebuke Angels / Spirits, the truth is, we can in the name of the Lord Jesus Christs name. (doing so in God Will of course) because of the exact same reason explained above.
