The reason why they don't stand up is because it resembles man. Its the same reason why they wont drink, smoke, or engage in trade because these are all things man does. Its like there way of separating them selves from the enemy "the human"

∙ 13y agoAnimalism is analogous to communism in George Orwell's allegorical novel, Animal Farm. In a sense, Animalism, along with all other governments, fall apart drastically in the presence of corrupted officers.
In Animal Farm, Napoleon becomes corrupted with the power he obtains after he removes his only political opponent, Snowball. This is analogous to Stalin who takes over communist Russia (Soviet Union) after murdering Leon Trotsky, his lead political opposition.
From this the Utopian idealistics of Animalism and communism are ruined in favor of a Dictatorship.
