The 3 reasons are because the immigrants put them out of jobs, were invading the country, and they were racists.

1. The Immigration is often unlimited. When a nativist ask a pro immigrant a question like how many immigrants are enough the pro immigrant never has an answer. If the US takes in 1 billion Chinese is that enough immigration are would you like more?

2, Many times the immigrates are coming illegally and they are low skilled. This brings down the wages of people who are already here who are also low skilled.

3. The progressive never thinks of the costs or the impact. Any person of colour who is not allowed to immigrate makes the person denying that person a racist or your trying to make America white again. It is not about race its about the cost to the country and to maintain their country. Once immigrants become the majority they can effectively take over the country by invasion by womb. Just have more babies, vote pro immigrant and have them bring their entire family. The natives will move to Another Country and bam you have taken over the country. Borders make a country by making the border effectively nothing then you have no country.
