Because The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) who were people who studied the mountain realised that it was going to erupt and they evacuated loads of people
sulfur dioxide and other erupted gases formed aerosols in the stratosphere!
About 200,000 people die every few months from rabies.
Mount Hood at its last eruption cause a major amount of damage. Many people were injured when it erupted and a few died.
The town of Pompeii was totally destroyed there was ash and dead bodies everywhere.
10 give or take a few
The eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991 released a large amount of ash, gases, and debris into the atmosphere, leading to a decrease in global temperatures for a few years. It also caused significant destruction to local infrastructure, homes, and agriculture, displacing thousands of people. The ash and volcanic mudflows resulted in loss of life and ongoing environmental impacts.

No eruption has ever killed 100,000 billion people; bear in mind that the total population of the planet Earth is less than 7 billion. Even the most destructive eruption in history (probably the Thera eruption) probably did not kill more than a few thousand people.
None. They were all dead. Very few escaped the eruption .
yes there was a few quakes before this disastrous eruption.....
It can be caused from major volcanic eruptions such as the one that occured in 1991 (Mount Pinatubo). During the eruption, the mountain ejected millions of tons of sulphur dioxide gas which when let off in the atmosphere mixes with water and oxygen to create sulphuric acid. The earth's climate was affected by the sulphur dioxide that was discharged into the atmosphere. This meant that the temperature worldwide would increase for a few years after the eruption took place.
At first most of the plants die due to the heat and gasses, but then they will come back since they grow well in a volcanic soil. There is a tree that is still alive after the eruption of Pompeii in 79 AD.

I believe it was Yellowstone. If I remember correctly, The eruption was around 2500 times larger than the mount st. Helens eruption a few years ago. We are around 46,000 years over due for an eruption.
Most of the people were surprised by the eruption and died. Only those few that left immediately, survived.http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/ancient/romans/pompeii_portents_01.shtml

Mount Vesuvius in Italy which famously erupted in Roman times but is now dormant. Mount St. Helen's in America Karkatoa in Indonesia 1883 Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines 1991 big eruption yet few died because of the correct prediction of when it would erupt. umm like you can find loads about them on loads of sites and many more .
