The Middle East and North Africa remains a region home to multiple faiths. These faiths have the freedom to accept and choose their beliefs and religious practice. Muhammad was a man with his own views and political policies. For Jews, Christians, and other faiths 'people' (this question references), they had/have the right to their independent convictions rather than be forced to accept his sect's beliefs.

Spiritual people were upset when he said their gods did not exist. They considered this a blasphemy.

Worldly people were upset that Mohammed's preaching turned away the tourists who came to visit the idols in their temple. Tourism was big business in Mecca, and they were worried about loss of profits.

Islam became violent in 613 or 614. Fights broke out in the street - and that upset everyone.

After Mohammed settled in Medina, he tried to convince the Jews there that he was the Messiah. They didn't believe him, which damaged his credibility among the pagans. Over a period of three years, he managed to remove all the Jews from Medina; some of them he killed, and he appropriated their lands and possessions into the bargain. This upset people all over Arabia.

Mohammed taught that it was okay to fight people who refused to become Muslims, and that Islam had to be spread all over the world, using violence if peaceable means failed. This has been upsetting people ever since.

Muhammad's teachings were accepted, in time, by all those in Arabia, and many of those outside it. However, he was opposed mainly, and most fiercely by the Makkans. This was done so for a number of reasons.

Muhammad asked the Makkans to let go of idolatry, this was a religion which had been worshiped and handed down to the Makkans by their revered forefathers. Doing so would disgrace them. Furthermore, even if they did, they would have to let go of the Ka'abah and with it, all the valuable gifts and financial superiority it brought.

The religion Muhammad brought asked them to abandon vile acts like usury, debauchery, drinking and murder. This had become an integral part of their lives and thus, they were not even near ready to accept this.

A:Every founder of a new religion finds some who accept his teachings and some who reject them. Muhammad was fortunate in that his early military successes quickly brought support from all over the Arabian peninsula.

Because he preached monotheism and polytheists tend to have trouble accepting the concept of a single god, either due to maintaining tradition, lack of reason, or arrogance.

Is there a teaching certification program that allows me to be certified in multiple states at one time?

No, unfortunately, there is not. Fortunately, most states will accept a teaching certificate from another state as fulfillment of Their certificate requirements. This means that moving from one state to another rarely involves more than some clerical work. However, there are Some states that require a candidate to Earn the certificate in that state. That means more coursework, and some student teaching time, which can be expensive, and time consuming. take a look at my higher education planning and finance site: http://sites.google.com/site/learningandfunding/
