∙ 14y agoNative American traditions (religion for lack of a better word) state that only "demons" or "bad things" live contrary to the world around them; settlers were (and are) demons because they cannot see, hear, touch, feel, or live with the world around them. To us most of the settlers, and their descendants, are blind, deaf and dumb.
